Welcome!
Peak bloom is usually at the end of June and the first week in July, but we have varieties that bloom from May until the end of summer, with some blooming into fall. Over 500 field grown daylily varieties will be offered for sale this season. Garden visitors are invited to choose daylilies from the field or our photo albums. We dig the plants you choose. We offer reasonably priced double fans on a first come-first serve basis while supplies last. Some cultivars will not be available until their growth habit in our area is established or they have grown sufficiently to warrant division for sale. We look forward to seeing and talking with you and welcome visitors to just come and look.
Hemerocallis (Daylilies)
Daylilies have become one of the most popular perennials. Their easy care and beautiful flowers make them useful in both formal and informal gardens. Daylilies perform best in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade as well. They are relatively disease and insect free and require only a good garden soil and average water. Flowers last only a day giving the plant its common name. Hundreds of varieties are available with new varieties released every year. Proper variety selection will allow flowering from spring until frost. Flower colors are available in every shade except pure white and blue.
